This checklist should be used to configure standard settings, restore Guru settings, and handle customization and prepare for recovery for the Cassini EPC. For a detailed overview, please reference Exchange Overview for System Controller EPC TIM.

A) Standard OS Settings

1. Connect Displays with HDMI and/or Thunderbolt ports. Connect USB RIFL Master to any available USB-A port. RI recommends a USB Keyboard and Mouse and a USB hub for accessories.
2. IP Address Settings (Default = DHCP). (nmcli con show) Change Hostname in ArcaOS How to rename Tester (STDF Node Name)
3. Time Zone and NTP settings TZ? ___________
   sudo timedatectl set-timezone America/New_York. Clock Synchronization Settings.

1. Activate Guru ID and restore config:
   
   (Preferred) Mount GuruID Floppy and Restart Guru
   sudo mount -t vfat -o loop ~/Downloads/<ID>GuruKeys.vfd /media/floppy -o gid=disk
   sudo unzip -o /media/floppy/GURUKEYS/<GuruID> -d /media/floppy/
   ~/RiApps/guruServer/guruServerStop.sh
   ~/RiApps/guruServer/startApp.cmd -RiBackupGuru <ServerIP> -RiUpdateGuru <ServerIP>
   
2. Logon and choose System > Restore to recover locally "owned" objects, including the Guru Address book entries.
3. Backup Guru Objects with Apps > Sync Util to backup firmware and system configuration data to Guru Server. Select <ServerName> as Guru B and press Connect Gurus then Compare Gurus. Now press Sync Up (Update Guru B from Guru A).
4. Restart OS to confirm full functionality.

1. Mount shared network drives (SMB/CIFS) mounted from the Apps > System > Gigolo application (see https://docs.xubuntu.org/current/user/C/internet-networks.html#network-connections )

1. Use 3rd party corporate image tools to make a disaster recovery image. (M2 NVMe drive can be replaced in the field.)
